It's November, and for once we're writing a Monthly Metal post only a month after the last one. Somebody please check on us! We've got a lot of good news, and a new song only a week away. Let's go!
La Llorona just blasted past 18k views
On Halloween night we unleashed the music video for La Llorona, and you've already pushed it past 18k views in a single week. We're so fucking stoked, and so grateful to everyone who watched it and shared it.
It's the first time we've ever let another band into one of our songs, and we did it with our friend Sofia from Elvira Metal Band. Rosa and Sofia sing it together, in English and in Spanish, about a mother who drowned her own children and has forgotten she did it. We made it as heavy as she is sad, with a music video like a gothic horror film.
If you haven't seen it yet, what the hell are you waiting for? Watch it now and subscribe to Elvira Metal Band's YouTube channel.
Press coverage we're proud of 🖤
People are writing about it too, and we're grateful for every word.
Zillions Magazine, who already covered Crown of Thorns last year, wrote about how we're moving into darker territory after two years of building our sound. They picked up on why we sing it in both English and Spanish: to honour where the legend comes from while bringing it to everyone else. They also wrote about our collaboration with Sofia Ekström from Elvira Metal Band, how working with her enriches the song, and what it says about the musical partnerships we're ready to take on.
La Hora del Terrock, who already talked about us on their radio show last year, went even deeper in Spanish. They broke down how Elvira's gothic and symphonic atmosphere mixes with our riffs and groove, with Clara's violin out front, and how Rosa and Sofia tell the same story from two sides. They understood what this song is really about: an abandoned woman, worn down until she became the monster people use to scare kids. And they covered the video, from its gothic horror look to the way it moves from sadness to fear.
La Llorona has also made it onto some great playlists. Roadie Metal, one of Brazil's biggest rock and metal outlets, has been supporting us since Moshpit, and they've now added it to Metal on the World, their flagship playlist of new metal from Brazil and everywhere else.
Tomi from Metal Madness Weekly, the Finnish podcast that's been digging up independent and underground metal since 2024, put it on two playlists: the Metal Madness Weekly podcast Playlist, with songs from the artists on the show, and Badass Metal by Metal Madness Weekly, a selection of the most badass metal songs of 2026. We'll happily take that title!
Cupchairs, who make music reviews, reaction videos and interviews, also picked it for their November playlist on YouTube.
Go give them all a follow, and find your next favourite band while you're there.
Wake up to Pink Paradox
We built you an alarm clock! Pink Paradox Wake Up is a free Android app with 25 of our songs built in, so every alarm is one of our metal tracks. No need for an account or a subscription, it’s fully free!
You get photos of a different band member every day, and if you can't sleep, Insomnia mode tries to knock you out with our metal, shows you how much sleep you've got left before the next alarm, and keeps your worst night as the record. Other alarm apps want you to wake up gently, we don't!
New metal videos on Heavy Find
Looking for new metal music videos to obsess over? We share new metal music videos on our Bluesky page Heavy Find every Friday (well… almost every Friday). This week it's Dead Silent by We Came As Romans feat. Make Them Suffer, Enemies by Spektrum feat. Elie Martin, Schreit mich an by Erdling, and some punk with Down to Nothing by The Rumjacks. Go and follow it, and find your next favourite band.
Friday 13, we hit back
And we're not done with La Llorona, because more press coverage is dropping very soon. Stay tuned too for our new track Le Boxeur, dropping on Friday 13. It's a metalcore opera sung entirely in French. Our tribute to the boxer Christophe Dettinger, and our answer to the police violence against kids in France and across Europe right now. Pre-save it from the button below.
