Bubblegum is out now

We’ve just dropped a brand new single and music video for Bubblegum, the third single from our upcoming album Crown of Thorns. If you’ve ever sat in a spotless room, drinking your perfect smoothie, scrolling through perfect lives, and thought, is this it? Then Bubblegum is for you.

We’re told to quit drinking, quit drugs, quit smoking... To quit everything that makes life messy and fun. And what’s the alternative? To wake up early, drink our green smoothie, meditate, run five miles, smash our deadlines, get eight hours of sleep, to wake up the next day and do it all over again. This is the dream, right?

Somewhere along the way, self-improvement is becoming a trap. The goal is to make us all better little workers… Obedient, efficient, and numb. Current society doesn’t want us happy, it wants us productive. We’re supposed to smile while we grind ourselves down, pretend this is living, and call it wellness. Fuck that!

Bubblegum is the soundtrack for the moment you realise the flavour’s gone. You’ve been chewing life, but it’s sweet for five seconds before it turns into tasteless rubber. Feeling good, feeling clean, but what the hell does that even mean?
